After examination by Dr. Doezie, our office can submit a request for authorization and check on the patient’s benefits for insurance carrier coverage. If the insurance company deems the procedure medically necessary it will be authorized. Patients with insurance PPO plans other than what Dr. Doezie is contracted, will have to use their out-of-network benefits. This means that the insurance company will cover a smaller percentage than if the patient went to a preferred provider in their network. If authorization is given, patients who have Bristol Park HMO, Monarch HMO, or MHAP HMO insurances will be covered 100%.
