Juvederm®

Juvederm logoJuvederm® is an injectable gel formulation that adds volume to the face and helps minimize the appearance of wrinkles and folds. Juvederm® is made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin. As hyaluronic acid diminishes over time, wrinkles and folds appear. Juvederm® helps by restoring hyaluronic acid, hydrating the skin and adding volume. Juvederm® XC contains lidocaine so patients experience less discomfort during treatment. Juvederm® injections can be done during an office visit with Dr. Doezie. During your visit, Dr. Doezie will:

  • Ask your doctor about your medical history including allergies
  • Examine the soft tissue of your face and determine your treatment requirements
  • Consider the use of anesthesia, although it is not required
  • Inject Juvederm® into the treatment areas
  • Gently message and smooth the treatment areas
